Description
Levenhuk Wezzer PLUS LP150 is a professional weather station for measuring atmospheric pressure, air humidity, temperature, wind speed and gusts, amount and intensity of precipitation, light level, and ultraviolet index. All of the measurements are carried out using one remote sensor. The station also has the functions of a clock with an alarm and a calendar, while the date and time get set automatically by synchronizing with the server. A color display is used for controls and to view readings.
A Wi-Fi connection is used to synchronize with time (Time Server) and weather (Weather Underground, Weather Cloud) servers. This enables you to check the weather forecast in real time and receive warnings about dangerous weather conditions.
The station can also calculate weather indices, such as dew point, heat index, and wind chill coefficient. A warning will appear on the display if any of the values are outside of a comfortable range. For example, if the air temperature drops below 1°C, the user will see an ice warning. It is possible to display values in different units of measurement, record the history of readings for an hour, day, week, or month.
A unique feature of this model is the measurement of light intensity in the range from 1 to 200 kilolux and ultraviolet index (from 0 to 15). Maximum values are displayed for both parameters. Exceeding comfortable levels is also accompanied by a warning on the screen.
The weather station display has an LED backlight for low-light operation. The remote sensor is powered by AA batteries or by the built-in solar panel. The main module runs on AAA batteries or AC power supply. Batteries are not included.
